Jason and I continue our Kotaku Splitscreen E3 2017 coverage discussing press conferences from Sony, Bethesda, and Ubisoft. Which company had the best show? Or rather, which was the least disappointing? Listen to find out.

(Actually, I’ll just tell you. It’s Ubisoft.)

We kick off the chat with Bethesda, then hit Ubisoft at 7:36 and close out with Sony at 20:55. Listen to our day-one reactions to Microsoft, EA, and the Xbox One X here.

As always, you can find Splitscreen on Apple Podcasts and Google Play. Reach us at splitscreen@kotaku.com with any and all questions, requests, and suggestions.

We’ll be back tomorrow with reactions to Nintendo’s morning show, then continuing into the week with daily episodes that’ll run during the actual day, so you won’t have to stay up late to listen. Stay tuned.

I don’t understand all the negativity I’m seeing about Sony’s conference. It wasn’t the greatest conference I’ve EVER seen or anything, but man, it was absolute wall-to-wall games (loved how there was literally just one MC and we only saw him like twice), and a huge chunk of them were real exclusives that can only be played on PS. God of War still looks great, I think Spiderman looks rad, Days Gone is a bit of a “wait and see,” but it’s certainly polished, Uncharted Legacy is the typical Naughty Dog slickness, Detroit is at the very least interesting, and there was all that VR support as well.

Not a bad conference at all, just not spectacular. Was waiting for that “one more thing.”
