Photographer Sara Collaton recently swung by the Ontario, Canada film set of upcoming horror flick Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. She took a handful of long exposure pics of the movie's carnival set.

The results are both stunning and creepy. These photos might even be better than the flick itself, which just started shooting. We'll have to wait and see, though.

The movie is the sequel to the 2006 and stars Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix, Memento) and Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Caligula, Star Trek: Generations) as well as Adelaide Clemens as Heather Mason and the returning Radha Mitchell and Sean Bean.

The movie is slated for a 2012 release.

The first silent hill was actually pretty good (as far as video game movie adaptations go)

It tarted off well, but the ending was pretty terrible, especially when they annoyingly decide to explain the whole plot at the very end. It's like they were catering for the lowest denominator. Hopefully this one can be better, making it creepy and thoughtful. Then again it has "3D" in the title, so lets face it it's going to be awful!
