The second Silent Hill movie—based on the third video game—is now filming, with the newly revealed Adelaide Clemens taking on the role of Heather Mason, the playable teenage daughter of Harry Mason from Silent Hill 3.
Silent Hill: Revelation 3D—not to be confused with upcoming Nintendo 3DS game Resident Evil: Revelations—will be directed by Michael J. Bassett and produced by Samuel Hadida and Don Carmody, they of Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D and Resident Evil: Apocalypse renown. Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is a direct sequel to the original Silent Hill movie.
The set up for Revelation is that "Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever."
