Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’ second season is out on Netflix right now, and if we’ve learned anything about this series in the six years since Cyberpunk 2077 launched, it’s that everyone involved loves a brand synergy moment. The new anime is out, an update is coming to Cyberpunk 2077 six years after launch, and now, the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game is getting an Edgerunners-themed set featuring characters from the show, and Kotaku has an exclusive look at one of the cards.

The Edgerunners set is called Burn Bright, and it will launch at retailers next spring. The cards will be available in English and French, with a Chinese set coming at “a later date.” While the full set is yet to be revealed, they will include foil and textured treatments and a brand new chase rarity that will be revealed later. Burn Bright will also introduce some new gameplay mechanics, but developer WeirdCo will go into specifics in the months ahead.
“The community reception to Cyberpunk TCG has been nothing short of incredible so far, so we want to deliver something even more exciting with Set 2,” said WeirdCo co-founder Elliot Cook in a statement. “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners provides us so many opportunities to evolve this game in meaningful ways, both mechanically and artistically, and we can’t wait to share that with players.”
Pre-release tournaments will be held a week before the set’s official launch, giving players a chance to play against others and open packs featuring the Edgerunners cards.
Kotaku can exclusively reveal art for one of the Burn Bright cards featuring Edgerunners protagonists David and Lucy as well as David’s mother, Gloria Martinez. The card is called Gloria Martinez: The Future’s Price.

Cyberpunk Trading Card Game was funded through Kickstarter, accumulating over $28 million in funding by the time its campaign ended in April. The first set, Welcome to Night City, is launching in stores on November 6, and features several characters from 2077.
