I've kinda forgotten, actually. So many people in Japan use the word "black" to describe their eye color: dark brown. Today, Mini-Bash was telling me that some kids in his class have black eyes and other kids have brown eyes. I know in English we use "black eye" for a bruise under the eye, but do people typically use "black" to refer to eye color other than in a sinister or malicious way?
Pretty sure that the only color of the human eye that actually is black is the pupil.
