See Battlestar Galactica composer Bear McCreary discussing his unique strategy for creating the musical score for Capcom's Dark Void.
Bear is quite obviously a gamer as well as a composer, so he knows game music and how it generally works. In order to keep his music from fading into the background, he's splitting his music up into chunks and letting the game arrange it dynamically, so the player never gets completely comfortable with the music. It's an interesting approach, but one question still bothers me.
If Bear and Crecente shook hands, would reality collapse, or would they just meld into one giant being with fabulous hair?
