Shelter, the game where you're a badger mum protecting her cubs, is now out. You can grab it on Steam, GOG, or get it directly from the developers at their website. Terraria just went mobile. While you wait for the new PC update, you might wanna try the newly released iOS version of this fine little side-scrolling sandbox. For $5, you get a Retina display-compatible, slightly rebalanced, touch-enabled mobile version of the full game. Above's a 25-minute demo by TouchGamePlay.

The next Tales will be a mobile game. Tales of Link is the name of the newest entry in the long-standing JRPG series, according to a teaser site recently put up by Namco Bandai. The game hits Japan this year, and will be available on both iOS and Android as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases. Read more

The Last Express is now out on Android—almost a year after its iOS debut. This port of Jordan Mechner's '97 adventure game features the same improvements as its iOS sibling, including achievements and a three-tiered hint system. It can be grabbed here.

Simon the Sorcerer is now on Android. Adventure Soft's classic 1993 point-and-click title can now be experienced all over again on Android phones and tablets, with (optional) modern features such as upscaled graphics and a remastered soundtrack. Note that there's also an older iOS port, though by different developers.

Tons of fighter jets and so, so many explosions. Strike Vector, Ragequit Corp's excellent-looking multiplayer arena air combat game, sure is coming along nicely—as evidenced by this new gameplay trailer, shared by the developers over the weekend. The game itself is expected to drop early next year. Can't wait!

Old-school RPG fans, take note. Spiderweb Software, creators of classic turn-based RPG series Geneforge and Avernum, have revealed the second part of the Avadon trilogy, their newest franchise. Titled Avadon 2: The Corruption, the sequel is expected to arrive on PC and iPad this fall. Trailer's above, go take a look.

One hour of Starbound for everyone. Over the weekend, at the UK's Multiplay Insomnia Gaming Festival, developers Chucklefish held a "world premiere" one-hour demonstration of their upcoming side-scrolling sandbox Starbound in the form of a Let's Play starring Duncan, Sips and Sjin of the Yogscast. Shadow Warrior is being rebooted next month. Flying Wild Hog's re-imagining of the classic, hilarious, and bloody 1997 first-person shooter will be arriving to PC on September 26. Naturally, there's a bloody trailer to go along with the release date announcement. Dig in!

Assassin's Creed IV's "Stealth" trailer sure does involve a lot of murder. And it's not just stealthy murder, either. Semantics aside, I'm really looking forward to neck-stabbing some bad guys in the jungle. Even if I won't have the kick-ass music. Did I mention there's kick-ass music? Have a look above.
