Gamescom graced us with a brand new demonstration-slash-trailer, this time featuring the remastered Final Fantasy X/X-2
The clip, which, like last time, is a comparison video, shows us how a combat scene plays out in the two versions of Final Fantasy X—first the old, then the new. The HD version is demonstrated starting at 1:47, at which point we’re shown a glimpse of some redesigned menus, sharper, better-looking effects and textures, and there’s even a sample of the newly arranged soundtrack.

The Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will land sometime this year on the PS3 and the PS Vita.
