The official (numbered) sequel to Where's My Water is now live on the App Store. The free-to-play follow-up to the physics puzzler introduces new challenge modes, a new level type called Duck Rush, and delivers "100+" levels on launch. A new Theatrhythm Final Fantasy game is hitting the 3DS in Japan next Spring. Gematsu reports that the sequel, titled Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, will feature 60+ characters, 200+ songs, and a multiplayer "Versus Battle Mode" at launch. Read more

The excellent Rayman Jungle Run is getting a sequel of sorts this Fall. Titled Rayman Fiesta Run, the game brings the endless platforming of Jungle Run to four new worlds with "75+" levels, while adding a new Invasion mode and introducing new abilities such as swimming and shrinking. Today in Tokyo, D3 Publisher announced that a new Earth Defense Force game is in development for the PS4. Note that this is not the Xbox 360/PS3 title Earth Defense Force 2025, which is already out in Japan and will hit the West in February, but a completely new game. Read more
