It probably helped that you couldn’t do anything with the ripped tracks except add them to playlists that you could listen to while playing Xbox games. Still, that turned out to be a killer feature for a lot of Xbox players, and was a good way for Microsoft to flex over being the only console with a hard drive. Read more

The bumpiness of the horse rides strikes me as a worrisome element for VR. I’m curious how an RDR game designed to be more VR-friendly might handle the inclusion of realistic horseback-riding.
