Ubisoft finally confirms Assassin's Creed II: Discovery for the Nintendo DS, presenting an untold chapter from Assassin's Creed II on the handheld this November.
Developed by Griptonite Games, Assassin's Creed II: Discovery for the DS sounds a whole lot like the iPhone version, also hitting on November 20th. The game sees Ezio travelling to Spain to rescue fellow assassins from the Inquisition, only to uncover a Templar plot to discover the new world. Like the iPhone version, DSi owners will be able to utilize the built-in camera to place their faces on wanted posters located throughout the game.
"Assassin's Creed II: Discovery is a great way for fans to experience a new chapter of the Assassin's Creed II storyline," shared John Parkes, EMEA marketing director at Ubisoft. "We think Nintendo fans will be impressed with all the unique features in the game designed specifically for Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DS."
Not all that unique really, all things considered, but nifty nonetheless.
