The Anker 675 USB-C Docking Station is both a laptop dock and a monitor stand in one unit, with 12 ports built into the base and a raised aluminum shelf above where a monitor sits. A single USB-C cable connects to your laptop, and everything plugged into the dock, from an HDMI cable running to the monitor above, to a wired keyboard, to a wireless charger for your phone, becomes available through that one connection. Laptop charging over the same cable reaches 100W.

The Anker 675 USB-C Docking Station is currently $174 on Amazon, down from its $250 list price for a 30% discount.

An easy way to connect your peripherals to your computer without muss and fuss

Docking a laptop turns it into a desktop setup temporarily, without giving up the ability to unplug and walk away with the laptop when you’re done working. The Anker 675 does that with a single USB-C cable from the laptop to the underside of the dock. Once connected, an external monitor plugs into the HDMI port on the back, wired accessories go into the USB-A and USB-C ports along the side, and the whole workstation gets power from the same connection to the laptop.

The shelf on top of the dock raises a monitor about three inches off the desk, bringing the screen closer to eye level so you’re not looking down for eight hours. Underneath the shelf, the recessed space fits a wireless keyboard, a mouse, or even a closed laptop out of sight when the workday is done. The aluminum shelf holds up to 22 pounds and fits monitors up to 24 inches wide, and there’s an 8.6-inch depth for the monitor stand itself.

Ports on the left side of the shelf include HDMI 2.0 with 4K at 60Hz output, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, SD and microSD card readers, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. USB speeds on all five USB ports run at 10Gbps, matching what USB 3.2 Gen 2 allows. HDMI is the only video output on the dock, since the USB-C ports on the side pass data and power only. Everything on the dock activates automatically when the laptop is connected via USB-C.

A wireless charging pad sits on the top right of the shelf, next to whatever monitor is docked. Qi charging speeds are 10W for Samsung Galaxy phones, 7.5W for iPhones, and 5W for other phones or wireless earbud cases with Qi support. A blue LED underneath the pad lights up when a device starts charging. Power to the dock comes from a 180W wall adapter, with 100W going to the laptop and the remaining 80W split between the downstream USB-C and USB-A ports.

Anker’s docking station lineup spans single-purpose USB-C hubs, mid-tier docks like this one with monitor stand integration, and higher-end options like the Nano 13-in-1 with a removable travel hub. The 675 fits in the middle as a home-office dock for anyone who works with a single monitor and wants to consolidate cable clutter. At $174, down from $250, the current sale takes $76 off the list price. Laptops from 2016 forward with USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode all work with it.
