I always liked how the concept of Pokemon was basically animal cruelty...but cute. HEY GUYS LETS TRAIN FOREST ANIMALS AND OTHER CREATURES TO FIGHT EACH OTHER.

Sold millions...

I'm not trying to go all PETA on you all, but I'm just pointing out the humor and guessing that's what the artist is probably going for too.
