An intrepid Kotaku reader found three working cheat codes for GoldenEye 007 on the Wii, but, so far, we only know what two of them do. Update: The third unlocks Big Head mode (pictured) in local multiplayer.
WireX, the reader, dumped the data out of the main executable file and found three codes, which must be entered case sensitive. They are:
NotIt!!!11 - Unlocks Tag in Multiplayer Split-Screen (see under Modifiers. Requires three or more players.)
Inv1s1bleEv3ryth1ng - Unlocks Invisibility Mode in Multiplayer Split-Screen (also under Modifiers. Invisibility is activated in lieu of sprint by holding B).
<477MYFR13NDS4R3SP13S> -This code is accepted, but what does it do?It activates Big Head Mode in Local Multiplayer. There is no toggle in the local multiplayer modifiers, the only way to switch it off is to reset the defaults; the only way to switch it on is to re-enter the code.
That final discovery comes from reader Stripeless just now (he supplied the screengrab at the top). I went back-and-forth with him on it, doubting him until I saw it for myself on my console. I'm not sure why I didn't see this earlier, as I did go into local multiplayer to look for skins and such. The surest way is to see it is to enter the code and then go into a two-person Conflict multiplayer match, changing nothing.
This is interesting because Eurocom said there would be no big head - or "DK" as it was known on the Nintendo 64, because it gave characters the body proportions of Donkey Kong.
Anyway, there you have it. WireX said these were the only three cheats he could find in the data dump, so this may be it. But who can tell? Big thanks to him and to Stripeless.
