Mercenaries developers Pandemic went bust last year, while members of the studio were hard at work on a third game in the sandbox warfare series. This is what it would have looked like, had it ever been released.
The Week In Games: System Shock, Street Fighter 6, And More
The game had the working title of Mercenaries 3: No Limits and was still in the early stages of development when Pandemic was closed up. That explains why things look a little rough; it was a showreel displaying the game's new concepts, not a shiny trailer designed for public consumption.
Nevertheless, with the one-year anniversary of Pandemic's demise upon us, now is as good a time as ever for us to see could have been, had the game not been binned along with the studio that created it.
