Role-playing game Puzzle & Dragons, which features puzzles and, um, dragons, has been a smash hit mobile title. The game is getting a 3DS version this month in Japan. And next spring, it's coming to Japanese arcades.
Yes, arcades! Remember those? Developed by Square Enix, the arcade version is called Puzzle & Dragons Battle Tournament (パズドラバトルトーナメント). According to Yahoo! News, the arcade version uses a touch-screen for gameplay and supports up to sixteen players online at once (as well as single player) for 100 yen (around US$1) per play. No word whether or not the arcade version will be released outside of Japan.
