Today we flew into Germany, meeting up at the hotel before walking over to the Cologne Convention center. After registering for the GDC Europe and picking up our press pass for Gamescom we walked over the mammoth halls of the show to check things out.
Blizzard has a pretty massive, impressive set-up, as did Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony and Electronic Arts. Activision's entire show seems to be focused on Call of Duty: Black Ops, at least on the show floor.
Tomorrow we've got the Electronic Arts and Sony press conferences and a Microsoft game-playing open house.
After our stroll through the halls the Mikes and I went to a nearby beer garden where I had some amazing goulash and lots of beer.
