Because one may be in the works for the PlayStation 3, according to a new report, which indicates that Metal Gear Solid and its two PlayStation 2 sequels may get a high-def facelift.

That's straight up rumor, with no confirmation from Sony or Konami. But there's clearly a precedent for these products, with rumors of HD collections of God of War, Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider games bandied about before they were officially announced.

Crazy Old Dave

Am I the only one here that thinks this is a bad thing to want. The MGS games are perfect the way they are, the HD graphics won't improve the story, or the excellent voice overs. It wont improve the superb gameplay that Kojima spent so long designing. It's a pointless endeavor, I'd rather the just kept printing the original copies for people who can truly appreciate MGS for what it actually is.
