Just in time for Christmas, maybe, comes the official pricing and release dates for all of the Wii and PS2's iterations of Rock Band 2 as well as the details on the Wii's DLC.

All versions of the game for both platforms will begin shipping to stores on Dec. 18, meaning they will arrive as late as... Christmas Eve! Wonderful timing.

The Wii version's downloadable content releases will go live shortly after the system hits with 20 free Rock Band 2 downloadable tracks as well as 30 other tracks already released into the Rock Band music catalog of downloadable content.

New music will hit every week until the entire back catalog is available.

Weekly Rock Band downloadable content releases will be available for the Wii system shortly after the game’s release.
