CGHUB's CharacterFORGE challenged artists to redesign Mega Man heroes and villains in the vein of dark age fantasy characters, and the results so far are truly epic. See if you can tell which character is represented in these pics.
Keep in mind many of these designs are not final. The competition runs until August 9, after which a finals thread will open up for competitors to post their finished product. Seeing the artwork by itself you'd think these were illustrations for the cover of fantasy novels.
While some of the characters represented will be obvious, many won't click until you see the inspirations listed in the original forum post, so once you find yourself stumped, head over to the thread linked below for answers.
