Indulge me for a second, but yesterday saw a rare coming together of two of my favourite things in life: cosplay and Aston Villa Football Club.
For the final game of the season, away at Spurs, Villa fans dropped the usual match-day attire and went dressed as plumbers, superheroes, cereal mascots and…crayons.
It looks like it was a great way to spend an otherwise forgettable day for Villa (beaten 3-0 to end a dreadful season).
