Today in a very special episode of Speak-Up on Kotaku, commenterQuiddity looks back on the achievements he would have unlocked had their been achievements when Chrono Trigger, Donkey Kong Country 3, and Final Fantasy VII came out.
Do you ever wish achievements were implemented in the earlier generations? To have all the accomplishments of your past all associated with some existing account?
I started thinking about this after "finishing" Disgaea 1 a few days ago. There are multiple endings, supposedly impossible godlike enemies that are at level 5000 and what not, and as much as I would like to devote more time to achieving some of that, I know I just simply do not have the time.
But long ago I did have that kind of time. I got all the endings in Chrono Trigger, defeated Emerald WEAPON in FFVII, got 103% in DKC3... It would be nice to have those trophies sitting on my digital wall.
So what past achievements in gaming do you wish could forever be immortalized in digital form?
