With the recent release of the third game in the award-winning Batman: Arkham series upon us, there are plenty of places I'd expect the Dark Knight and friends to be showing up this week. As collectible characters in mobile sensation Puzzle & Dragons was not one of them.
Yet here we are, with a special event in GungHo Online Entertainment's puzzle role-playing game for Android and iOS kicking off tomorrow, October 30, giving players the opportunity to add Robin, Catwoman, Batman and more to their army of monsters, pitting them against the Clown Prince of Crime in the process.
How very odd. GungHo has even dressed up the game's creature-doling Egg Machine in Bat-fashion, a fitting means to collect all of these critters before the Batman: Arkham Origins event ends on November 12.
