Platinum’s Vanquish looks like the anti-Gears of War; a third-person shooter that’s all bright colours and fast motion. Oh, and missiles! Lots and lots of missiles.

Vanquish’s development is being headed up by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, and is due at the end of the year on PS3 and 360.
