If the actual Uncharted 4's a little too white-knuckled for your gaming tastes, but you still want to get a feel for what everyone’s been talking about, you could always try this brief little text adventure version.

Know that, if you haven’t worked it out by now by the genre itself, it’s not an official project. Nor is it a word-for-word recreation of the game. It’s an adaptation by Terrence Jarrad of Tim Colwill’s excellent “authentic rejected script”, which captures the spirit of Uncharted 4, if not the plot itself.

There’s not much to it (it only covers the opening section), but if all you get out of this is a reading of that script, then you’ve had a good day.
