Bring On The Persona 5 Figures

They just can not make Persona 5 figures fast enough. And while we wait for Makoto and Yusuke, here’s a Futaba (with bonus Morgana) from Phat Company. She’s not poseable, so you can’t sit her in a computer chair, but she does come with interchangable parts, meaning you can swap between a “jacket” look and…

Hands On With Destiny 2 On PC

If you were hoping for something dramatically different from Bungie’s much ballyhooed Destiny sequel, I regret to inform you that Destiny 2 is still Destiny. If you really like Destiny, of course, that’s not such terrible news. This morning I headed over to the Jet Center in Los Angeles to attend Bungie and Activision’s big…

An April story about Oculus Rift founder Palmer Luckey stated that the VR pioneer donated to the President’s inauguration through companies named after things from Chrono Trigger. Injustice 2 Bug Eats Player Progress, But You Can Get It Back

A bug in Injustice 2 is rolling back player progress, making hard-earned character levels seemingly disappear. While Netherrealm works on ensuring the issue stops occurring, WB Games offers a workaround that’s been fixing the issue for many players. Reader Luca tipped us off to the problem earlier today, noting that he and several other players…

L-Trac Glow Laser Trackball Review: The New Ball Game

A good trackball is hard to find. That wasn’t always the case, but in today’s world of super-high DPI mice, quality sphere-based pointing devices aren’t easy to come by. Don’t worry, I found one. While I appreciate a nice mouse for gaming and general use purposes, I am an old, old man who grew up…

Portal’s Companion Cube joins the Dota 2 roster in the form of a new Arcana cosmetic for Io, available for all TI7 Battle Pass owners level 245 and above. For those doing the math at home, that’s about $109 if you don’t want to level up to earn this adorable wisp.

Blizzard Says Overwatch Wasn’t Meant To Be Political, But It’s Not That Simple

At yesterday’s New York Overwatch event, in a rented-out space in midtown Manhattan, Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan stood in front of a slide showcasing an old Egyptian woman, an autistic Indian woman, a bodybuilding Russian woman, a plump Chinese woman and a Mexican hacker woman. “One thing that we did with the game that…

Zombies Chronicles Makes Old Call of Duty More Horrifying Than Ever

I’ve been a fan of Treyarch’s Zombies modes ever since “Nacht der Untoten” graced Call of Duty: World at War. I’ve been dying to revisit the classic maps, but with my PS3 long out to pasture, I haven’t had the chance. Now, thanks to Zombies Chronicles, I can play the classics again in stunning new…

In a twist, GTA Online has joined that list thanks to a former officer of the law, Eli Thompson. People love him so much, he’s already become one of Twitch’s hottest channels. On…

Destiny 2 Will Be 60FPS (Or More) On PC, Run Only On Battle.Net [UPDATE]

Destiny 2 is coming to PC, and as you may expect, this version will give you far more of those sweet, sweet frames than the PS4 and Xbox One versions. It’ll also run on Blizzard’s Battle.net rather than Steam or another PC distribution service, which is an interesting choice. UPDATE (4:46pm): The PC version will…

The very fine rhythm game Thumper hits Nintendo Switch today. I’ve been playing the Switch version over the last couple days, and it’s a good port. Looks nice, runs at 60fps, and feels good too, thanks to the Switch’s handcrafted artisan controller rumble.

The $250 Mountain Cave Is The Biggest Lego Minecraft Set Yet

Coming July 1 to a Lego store near you, the 2,863 piece Mountain Cave set is the most ambitious (and most expensive) official Lego Minecraft set yet. As an added bonus , it actually looks like a mine someone has crafted. Last year’s Village set was nice, but it didn’t exactly scream “mine.” Standing 12…
