Beyond: Two Souls Looks Very, Very Sad

Which shouldn't surprise you. It's not like Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain were a laugh-a-minute. But there's something all this concept art from the game that just bums me out.

Well, the parts with the children's rooms and sad little girls, that part does. The rest reminds me that this game is really weird, because it started out looking like a supernatural adventure, but now it's also really Metal Gear and I just don't know what to think anymore.

This art was recently released by Sony and Quantic Dream, and shows the game's split personality perfectly. I've never been a teenage girl raised to be a super-powered Jason Bourne, but I imagine it would look just like it does in these images.
