Each week throws off several new video game lists ranging from the humorous to the trivial. What's better? A list of those. Here's a roundup of the rundowns out there.
•Top 10 Worst Cartoons Based on Video Games [Calm Down Tom] Dungeons & Dragons, in addition to not being really a video game cartoon, was actually pretty good. Everything else here is spot-on advertooning, though he did miss the godawful CBS Saturday Supercade.
•The Coolest LittleBigPlanet 2 Levels So Far [UGO] It's pretty awesome that, so soon into release, this game has enough community generated content to supply 25 must-play levels, from homages to Portal and Peggle to a Vietnam-style FPS. No. 2 is a recreation of Legend of Zelda's first dungeon.
•The 10 Most Disgusting Video Game Heroes [Ranker] He's talking physical aesthetics, not the game's appeal, which is why Super Meat Boy can be selected No. 1.
•Our 10 Favorite "Bulletstorm" Skillshots So Far [Complex] A good rundown of what kind of shit you can cause with Bulletstorm, at least from what we know in the demo. A better list might have been "Top 10 Skillshot Names That Aren't In Bulletstorm But Should Be." To those, I would like to see something like "Smoky Tornado."
•Five Classic Sports Games That Need Remakes [Joystick Division] Tecmo Bowl Throwback should have taught us to be careful what we wish for, in the case of RBI Baseball and Blades of Steel. NFL Blitz is rumored to be the next arcade title coming from EA Sports. Excitebike, well, you can play Trials HD for somewhat the same effect.
