RE: Fly Away, Fly Away, Fly Away Home
Mini-Bash enters FIRST GRADE this spring. And when Japanese kids enter first grade, they get shiny, hard leather backpacks called "land-cell". They're priced at anywhere from $200 to $700. (The average price is probably closer to $300 or $400).
Kids use the bags from first grade until six grade — they're viewed as elementary school items.
In junior high and high school, students carry bags with the names of their institutions and not land-cells.
Boy, lots of talk about bags! Here is a commercial for a popular brand.
