While the straitjacketed brute pictured above certainly doesn't look like a very inviting resident of this tropical getaway, new screens of the now highly anticipated Dead Island are welcome, regardless of whatever mutant zombie happens to be photobombing these shots.

We've seen before that Dead Island is potentially as attractive as the promise of its much talked about trailer, but these serene, bloody and car carnage-filled shots make us want the game that much more. Dead Island is slated for release on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year.

Well, well....now that "Homefront" has been released and succumbed to its own hype, it appears we have another game that will be getting all the media attention only to disappoint us all over again.

This hunt for new IPs that keep letting its fans down is becoming a trend.
