These days, cross-promotions are all the rage in Japan. Monster Hunter in your Metal Gear Solid. Ace Attorney in your Professor Layton. This Tales of Graces collaboration might be overdoing it, though.

In PS3 game Tales of Graces F, there is a downloadable "Toro" costume. Toro, aka the "Sony Cat", is the company's mascot character in Japan.

While cute, this costume sure hits the PS3 angle over the head! Subtle, it ain't.

Tales of Graces F will be released on the PS3 this December. The original Tales of Graces was a buggy Wii title. It was so buggy that the game was recalled. The PS3 version is expected to mend those bugs as well as improve the game's visuals.

People been saying shit about Square Enix these days, but Bamco is on a totally different level.

wtf dlc milking, not even bringing a flagship tales game to the US even though tales games generally sell well on nintendo platforms, getting completely different voice actors for Tales of Symphonia 2. A few of the many things that got fans riled up the current generation.

yep. One of the big bullet points of the struggling video game industry in Japan.
