This One's For You, Battlestar Galactica Fans

Remember that Battlestar Galactica mod, Diaspora, we showed you a few months back? It's got a new trailer, and I am weak at the knees.

Not only because it's looking like the Battlestar games of my dreams, but because it's looking decidedly real, fantastical "trailer money shots" replaced with in-engine and even in-game footage.

Diaspora is is a total conversion of ageing space combat game Freespace 2, and is being made by some of the team behind the last great Battlestar Freespace mod, Behind the Red Line. No word on a release date yet, which is a shame, but hopefully there'll be one some day.
