Yesterday I asked you folks to vote on what sort of character you'd like me to create for my brief weekend visit with the Star Wars: The Old Republic beta. Now let's see what your voting has wrought.
The non-disclosure agreement for The Old Republic has lifted, and the internet shall soon be swamped with slightly more information than it contained beforehand. I'd flood you with information myself, but having only gotten into the damn thing this week — Skyrim week, no less — you've pretty much got my entire experience in the video up top.
I actually played for a couple of hours last night, and so far there are things I enjoy and things I don't. I'm liking the slightly cartoonish character models and the voice acting is top-notch. The moral choices I've had to make so far have played out rather compellingly.
On the negative side, SO MUCH RUNNING. Can I buy a mount, please?
Look for more on the beta next week, after I've had a little more time to soak in it.
