Look, I'm all for people being really into games. But as with everything in life, there is a line, and naming your son after a fantasy video game character is, well, yeah.
To win a competition held by Skyrim developers Bethesda (the same one reader Spenny was denied entry), Megan and Eric Kellermeyer named their son, born last Friday, Dovahkiin Tom Kellermeyer.
Sure, the prize for the parents is a sweet one: they get free Bethesda games for life. But if little Dovahkiin Tom doesn't like video games? Or doesn't like Bethesda video games? Well, then little Dovahkiin Tom is shit out of luck.
Then again, the parents only had to provide proof Dovahkiin Tom was his name this week. Nothing stopping them from next week changing it to just plain Tom.
