I remember owning an original C-3PO toy back in the mid-80s, and the thing was a piece of shit. One of his legs was always falling off, and more importantly for me at the time, he didn't have a gun. If only designer toys had been around back then!

Keith Poon's custom C-3PO and R2-D2 pieces, based on threeA figures, are as badass as the originals were not.

He's done three figures: two rather upright ones, and a squat R2 packing some serious firepower. The gun-toting R2 and Threepio are sadly sold out, but if you have, ahem, $380 spare (these are designer customs, remember, not Toys 'R Us figures), you can still get hold of one.
