Before The Witcher 3 officially released, much of the talk online was about downgrades, or disappointment about the graphics. Now that people have had a chance to actually play the game, however, the discussion around The Witcher 3 is very, very different.
There are over a thousand reviews on Steam right now, and almost all of them are overwhelmingly positive: people love this game. Mostly, people cite the meaty well-written sidequests and the number of hours of entertainment that the game provides as strengths. They also tend to cite many of The Witcher’s more ridiculous aspects, like the beard, the sex, and the glitches. Surprisingly, a lot of people like Gwent, The Witcher’s built-in card game, too.
