There’s a ton going on in pro gaming this weekend, starting with the concluding matches of Worlds 2016's first phase, followed by major tournaments across the fighting game community stretching from Dearborn Michigan to southern Malaysia.
There’s also still plenty going on in the world of competitive Counter-Strike and Rocket League in both Europe and the Americas. Here’s where you can find it all.
League of Legends
The World Championship continues this weekend with the group stage wrapping up Sunday night. With ROX Tigers, Albus NoX Luna, H2K, and Edward Gaming already having locked in their slots for the quarterfinals of next week’s knockout stage, a flurry of matches today and tomorrow will determine who faces them from groups B and D.
A competitive three-way race between Samsung Galaxy, Team Solo Mid, and Royal Never Give Up for the top-two spots in group D, will kick things off later today beginning at 4:00PM EDT with a throw-down between the current leaders, Samsung and TSM. The action than continues tomorrow at the same time in group B starting with I May vs. Flash Wolves.
North America’s Cloud9 will have their work cut out for them if they’re going to hold on to their current spot in the quarterfinals. Despite, already defeating both I May and Flash Wolves earlier in the tournament, the latter showed they had it within them to take things to the next level when they beat previous champions SK Telecom T1. Smash Bros.
Welcome to The Big House 6 Smash tournament. Having grown from a humble competition with just over 100 entrants five years ago, Big House has blossomed into a major event showcasing some of the best players from Melee and Smash 4 battling it out at the University of Michigan.
Matches began yesterday and will continue throughout the weekend, running from approximately 11:00AM EDT to 11:00PM EDT each day. You can watch all of them on the VGBootCamp and Unrivaled Tournaments streams with a complete schedule available here.
Rocket League
After learning earlier this week that the Season 2 Grand Finals for the Rocket League Championship Series will take place on December 3-4 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, it’s time to focus on the task at hand: namely the Rocket League Mid-Season Classic.
The North America tournament will begin around 3:00PM EDT today, followed by the European one tomorrow at 12:00PM EDT. Eight teams in each region will be randomly seeded and compete for a $10,000 grand prize before returning to regular season play next weekend. You can watch everything here.
Hearthstone
With all of the summer championships complete, it’s time for last call. Matches began today for the Europe Last Call Invitational at 8:00AM EDT and can be found here. The Asia-Pacific Last Call Invitational will follow tomorrow beginning at 11:ooPM EDT. The Americas Last Call will take place on October 15th, after which the three final entrants for the Hearthstone World Championship at BlizzCon in November will have been selected.

Street Fighter V
The South East Asia Major of the Capcom Pro Tour began yesterday with top names from all across the world descending on Singapore. The tournament will pit the host nation’s local hero, Kun “Xian” Ho, against powerhouses like Daigo “The Beast” Umehara and Seonwoo “Infiltration” Lee.
Matches will run today from 10:00AM EDT to 10:00PM EDT, and again tomorrow from 10:00AM EDT to 8:00PM EDT. You can catch all of the action right here.
