There's something weird going on. I'm LOVING Super Mario Galaxy 2, BUT I really disliked the original Super Mario Galaxy.

I played it for about two hours and couldn't get into it. It was just..repetitive.

SMG2 on the other hand, is fantastically exciting. You get Yoshi within the first half hour of the game, and in the two or three hours I've played of SMG2 I've already played with the cloud suit, the fire flower, the invincibility, and the spinning top used to dig, all awesome powers. Theyre all fun to use too, unlike the boring bee suit. The bosses are also really clever this time around.

Other than that, theyre kind of the same game.

Also I think playing as Mario without Yoshi or any super powers is boring as hell in these games, so I'm glad they brought out the big guns fast, I think that's why I didn't make it through SMG1.

In conclusion, I know people always come into topics and start a sentence with, "am I the only one....?" knowing full well they are not,

but I have to say, I truly feel like I am and will be the only one to love SMG2, yet hate SMG1.
