Sometimes you gotta drive fast, on wet roads, cause that’s the only way to show off just how amazing the physics engine is.
I’m not a steadfast Forza fanatic but those puddles, who could resist? For some it’s about hugging the turn and beating your previous best time by tenths of a second, but for me it’s all about the wreck. How long can you keep your thumb glued to the acceleration before a few droplets of water send you spinning?
Which brings me to this week’s other highlight: the long awaited return of Culdcept. It’s also a game about trying to hold things together despite your most destructive impulses, except instead of being surrounded by Porsches and BMWs, your flanked by strange monsters standing on a scrambled Monopoly board navigating incomprehensibly arcane card game mechanics.
