Yesterday, Super Mario 3D World spin-off title Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker hit store shelves in Japan. That leaves just one question. Who's up for joining me for some puzzle-platforming action?

It's probably important to note that, as I never played Super Mario 3D World, I have no experience whatsoever with Captain Toad. So don't be surprised if I seem to have no idea what I am doing—I really don't. With that in mind, let's dive in.

Can someone quickly confirm if this game has Mario in it. And if you could make a totally inaccurate ratio between toad to Mario appearances that would be excellent.

I am someone who wants to Like Nintendo but I fucking hate Mario. So any game that's like Mario's but doesn't star him is a better version to me than the original Mario version.

Because fat italian plumbers who don't realize how friendzoned they are to the princess who would rather get "kidnapped" by a giant hell turtle than give them a handy J pisses me off. And he's gross to look at.

Also you'd think after Wii Fit they'd make Mario leaner to prove they actually care about health with their sport and exercise games.
