While Sony got things off to an unofficial start last night, today sees the actual opening of the showroom floor for the 2012 Tokyo Game Show.

The event runs for four days, and over that time we’ll play a ton of games, see even more and check out all the other stuff TGS is known for, from Japanese merchandise to some of the world’s best cosplay.
Doors open at 9pm ET / 6pm Pacific (or some other time, depending on where you are).
