With so much focus put on the technical prowess of The Creative Assembly’s Shogun 2: Total War, it’s easy to overlook the game’s story, steeped in rich Japanese history.
Shogun 2: Total War is set in 16th century Japan after the ĹŚnin War. During this war . . . my god, how many troops do they have on screen at once? Did you know that each troop uses a combination of AI and motion-captured moves to determine who it attacks and how when two lines cross? Ooo, and check out the water, and those horses! This game looks gorgeous
