It's no secret that Kotaku and our sister sites at Gawker Media got walloped this week after our datacenter was flooded by Hurricane Sandy and our sites were knocked offline. We've taken to Tumblr, setting up alternative versions of our sites, where we've worked to give readers as much of a proper Kotaku, Deadspin, Gawker, Jalopnik, Jezebel, Gizmodo, io9 and Lifehacker-ish experience as we can. Through that, we've run a lot of our usual mix of content but also a lot on the storm and its aftermath, on its extraordinary moments and its most ridiculous.
Here is a sampling. We thank you all for sticking with us.
