A cult fencing game deserves a cute, choreographed fan film, doesn't it? Yes, it does. This Nidhogg tribute is pretty fun, especially because it's got a bunch of guys in brightly colored bodysuits stabbing each other.
Apsis Motion Pictures' cinematic interpretation of Mark Essen's indie swordplay title works because it's essentially a live-action cartoon, with beats of slapstick interspersed amongst the dodges and lunges. I especially like how lead character Yellow Guy goes from being befuddled and scared out of his wits to being an ice-cold bad-ass by the end of the short.
