Capcom's jet-pack shooter Dark Void didn't do so hot when it hit consoles earlier this year, but the mini 8-bit game released on the DS was another story entirely.
Dark Void Zero, seemingly the product of marketing, was a fantastic little retro homage with 8-bit graphics and sound and gameplay reminiscent of early Metroid titles.

Good news, now, for fans of these sorts of games: Dark Void Zero is now bound for the iPhone and Windows PC on April 12.

These versions of the game will include new online features like achievements, the ability to connect with friends and online leaderboards that track high scores and speed runs.

This new version will also have a new, secret ending.
