And that use is a surprisingly practical one: simply enter “upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart” on the phone’s keyboard and you’ll have unlocked its dev mode, which if you’re so inclined will let you test out wacky new stuff on the phone that otherwise wouldn’t fly running in “standard” mode.
