Sure, EA's upcoming Late Night expansion for The Sims 3 is extremely similar to expansions already released for The Sims and The Sims 2, but just look how much better that musical trailer looks. That's worth something, right?
Judging by the comments in the post revealing Late Night for The Sims 3, fans aren't too happy with the prospect of rebuying similar content over and over again each time a new iteration of The Sims is released. Fair enough! I can understand your frustrations.

I'm lucky enough (I suppose) to have not gotten sucked into the previous two games, so this is exciting new ground for me. It might be older material freshened up a bit, but for me it's my first chance to get my Sim knocked up in a dirty club bathroom.
