Two years ago, Michael Jackson unexpectedly passed away. According to NME, Jackson's once debt-ridden estate is now making hundreds of millions ($300 million plus!) thanks to posthumous output like This Is It! and the game Michael Jackson: The Experience. [NME]
Sadly, this is what Michael Jackson apparently told his family was going to happen. His sister and father gave interviews this week discussing his death, and each of them noted that Michael was concerned that the people managing his money were going to kill him so that they could make more money off posthumous merchandise.
Whether it was their plan or not, it certainly seems to have worked out exactly as he predicted it would.
