After debuting strongly in first place in Japan a couple weeks back, PlayStation 3 role-playing game Dark Souls has been defeated. Taking its first place position is another role-playing game, the latest in Falcom's Legend of Heroes line.
That PSP game, Eiyuu Densetsu: Ao no Kiseki, sold nearly 130,000 copies week one to give it a first place showing. Taking second is Koei's Shin Sangoku Musou 6 Moushouden—which we'd call Dynasty Warriors 7 Xtreme Legends 'round here—for the PlayStation 3.
One more new debut, Grasshopper Manufacture's music-rhythm game Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3nd Impact, scared up some 16,000 copies—which is sadly pretty good for a Grasshopper game.
