The last time I played Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s beta, things were looking a little rough. So it’s little surprise to hear that the game has been delayed. Originally due in 2015 before slipping to 2016, it’s now been pushed back to 2017.

I can wait for quality, the game is pretty rough as is and it could do with baking a little longer. I backed this mostly for the accurate depiction of sword fighting, and while it definitely needs a few refining passes I like what they did with it. The attention to detail of the world is also wonderful and very reminiscent of the witcher.

Plus like a lot of the games that crowdfunded at that time they bought into cryenine (assuming on a sweetheart deal) and it’s such a focussed FPS engine turning it to anything else is really difficult and with their troubles I’m sure the support isn’t what it was. That being said they’ve done good work with it so far and so have CIG so I’m looking forward to those brilliant graphics with some good new gameplay mechanics.
